The Snowdonia Sojourn Tour Accommodation

A mile long oak lined driveway leads us up from the coast road up to the hall. A magnificent granite gateway heralds your arrival. The hall opens up in front of you as you sweep along the circular driveway. That enriching crunch of gravel as we step out of the car. Welcome to the Elizabethan manor house set in the beautiful Snowdonia countryside in North Wales. This will be your exclusive accommodation during the entire duration of your tour. (additional days incl.)
The architecture of this amazing manor is matched by its rich and fascinating history. If only buildings could talk, the grand fireplace would reminisce how it had warmed the toes of the native princes of Wales. The oak paneled walls in the king bedroom would giggle of the soft snoring of Charles II. The library would whisper of the clandestine plans of the revolutionary Owain Glyndwr and the secret staircases leading down to the servants quarters would blush with stories of flirtatious encounters.

Amazing architecture, fascinating history.
Beautiful countryside, peaceful resting place.

A heavy oak door opens onto a small entrance hall and then onto the main lounge. A huge fireplace sits on the far wall. An old leather sofa and matching armchairs face the flames. A fascinating collection of antiques and historic artifacts line the oak paneled walls.

The dining room next door is equally grand, a central dining table comfortably seating up to 14 guests. Big tall windows filling the room with a soft light. The adjoining kitchen is smaller and more modern in appearance. Recently renovated, this room and the utility next door are very well equipped and have all the modern appliances you’d expect.

A second living room is more Victorian in style. Beautiful molded plaster roses, corbels and cornices adorn the ceiling and walls. A grand piano sits in a large bay window and a large rug sits atop of the original oak floor. The perfect space for afternoon tea. Later on in the day however, guests might like to adjourn to the library. Another real fire but this time the walls are covered with a myriad of books both young and old, along with a flat screen TV in the corner perfect for cozy movie nights.
